If you desire ease, forsake learning.

We hope you enjoy this blog and remember Gandhi's words, "Live as if you were to die tomorrow. Learn as if you were to live forever." KS&MD

“Philosophy is to be studied not for the sake of any definite answer to its questions, since no definite answers can, as a rule, be known to be true, but rather for the sake of the questions themselves; because these questions enlarge our conception of what is possible, enrich our intellectual imagination and diminish the dogmatic assurance which closes the mind against speculation; but above all because, through the greatness of the universe which philosophy contemplates, the mind is also rendered great, and becomes capable of that union with the universe which constitutes its highest good.”

I think I can speak for both of us when I say that Matthew and I are very sorry that we haven’t posted much this past month or so…

I haven’t had much access to tumblr (as it is blocked at the router at my house) and while I have places in the area I may go to use their internet, I am working 56+ hours a week. I haven’t had much time for my blog either.

Anyway, Matthew doesn’t like the idea of being the only person that can post on OUR blog… So he has let it fall to the wayside. We hope to be up and posting quite a bit more in about a month! I hope all of our followers are doing well and are willing to wait that much longer for some beautiful words to feed their minds! ♥

“Reading furnishes the mind only with materials of knowledge; it is thinking that makes what we read ours.”

—   John Locke

“Anything can happen, anything…I suppose it is out of laziness that the world is the same day after day.”

—   Jean-Paul Sartre

“In order to understand the world, one has to turn away from it on occasion.”

—   Albert Camus

This is a great website, so check it out!
